port operations based in Skagway Alaska has an immediate opening for a Marketing Assistant.
This is a full‐time, year round position with flexible work hours.

Job Description:
The Marketing Assistant supports the WP&YR brand with advertising, promotion, sponsorships,
presentations, special events, liaison with railfans, film crews and fam tours; and production of
electronic and print collaterals (websites, brochures, ads, displays, media kits, videos, etc).
Duties:
- Reporting to the Senior VP of Marketing and Administration, the Marketing Assistant
supports the implementation of the annual marketing plan.
Skills/Qualifications:
- The successful candidate will be highly organized with excellent project management skills and a
natural multi‐tasker who enjoys providing service in a team environment. Attention to detail, creativity
and ability to communicate clearly and effectively is essential. Demonstrated technological skills and
proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required. - A related business degree would be a definite asset.
