Santa Train a Huge Success

With 324 riders this year, including infants, we shattered last year's record of 297!  It was a great success, and everyone had a great time.  The depot was beautifully decorated for Santa’s arrival and visit with all of the children from Skagway, Haines, Carcross and Whitehorse.
 
This year we had 10 passenger cars and 2 90-Class Engines.  We had a number of “woodies” in this train, so the overall train length was fairly short.  The train left a bit before 1PM, and made 12mph with the 10 passenger cars and arrived back shortly after 2PM and had the trains put away just before dark at 3PM.  Just right!
