Retired English train driver and locomotive enthusiast Philip Wormald spent 10 days at the WP&YR in June to see the diesel locomotives in action.  He was joined for 6 days by friends Andrew Jones and Jonathan Lee.

Their visit will result in a feature article of overseas news for the very popular UK based Railfan magazine RAILWAYS  ILLUSTRATED (www.railwaysillustrated.com).

Philip has become a real friend of the WP&YR and plans to return again in 2006!
