Bennett has always been an important stop for the WP&YR. The Bennett Eating House is famous for its food and was an important stop in the railroad’s operations and tourism program.

A one hour and forty-five minute layover at Bennett offers passengers a piping hot meal and a self-guided walking tour of the historic gold rush town-site. At the end of the layover passengers will re-board the train and resume their railroading adventure.
