A German immigrant named Henry G. Bachmann founded the
Bachmann Company in America during 1833. He established a Toy making
company that produced
fine toys for over 100 years.
Now the American company Bachmann is a very popular brand for HO, N and especially a major manufacturer of Gn3 scale train cars and engines.
They are less expensive than the LGB cars, but are still of very good quality and run well with other G Scale models. Each car that we sell comes with couplers to adapt to LGB train cars.
Both LGB and Bachmann are the major manufacturers of G scale trains and frequently show up on indoor and outdoor layouts.
